New Gallery: Behind the Iron Curtain
Often on Nittel Nacht Rabbi Berel Levy would show the Rebbe various activities of Yiddishkeit behind the Iron Curtain..
On that note, RebbeDrive presents a gallery of some of these photos, which were presented to the Rebbe.
Most notably are photos of The Rebbe’s Father’s Ohel in Almaty, as well as the Ohel in Lubavitch. Lists of Jewish names trapped behind the Iron Curtain, and clandestine Chassidic Farbrengens with notable Lubavitch figures during that difficult period.
