When Rabbi Groner’s Office Went Up in Flames

Twenty-six years ago, on Chof Teves 5752, a fire erupted in 770 due to technicians working on a heater in the building. The fire quickly spread to the Rebbe’s secretary, Rabbi Leibel Groner’s office.

As the big Shul was filled with smoke from the fire, the Rebbe Davened Mincha in the small Zal instead.
